A superior culinary grade, it’s produced across three famous tea-growing regions of Japan using traditional techniques: the leaves are carefully shaded before harvest, steamed, rolled and de-veined then slowly ground on granite wheels to yield the jewel-like powder.

Its classic bittersweet profile, similar to our Matcha Wakatake, is balanced by bright, grassy and naturally creamy flavors that compel another sip. The bold profile also works well in cocktails or baking—anywhere you’re looking to add an unforgettable fresh green note.
